Laura -Scales Childminding Manager
Laura is the Manager at Little Blossoms childminders in Watford UK. Laura has 10 years experience in childcare which includes working within the early years age group in several Primary schools and gaining experience with children with Special Educational Needs.
She also has experience as a Maths and English Tutor and has worked with all age groups from Early Years to adult learners. She therefore has extensive experience of the Early Year Foundation Stage for younger children and the National Curriculum for older children.
Laura has always been passionate about childcare and offering an environment in which children are happy, stimulated and encouraged to reach their full potential. After the birth of her first child she decided to re-train as a childminder.
Degree educated, Laura also has a Cache Level 3 in Home Based Childcare, Paediatric First Aid, Full CRB check and Safeguarding Children Certificate.

Laura is supported by a team of Childcare Assistants who all have current CRB checks, First Aid Certificates and experience working with children in a range of different settings. All staff share Laura’s passion for creating a safe, secure learning environment for the children in their care whilst making sure the days are full of fun.
